I am impressed that residential NBN services can now deliver close to 2Gbps download and around 500Mbps upload. The installation was quick and the smaller, lower-power NTD is a welcome improvement. I still think residential upload speeds should be more competitive and would prefer symmetrical services, such as 500Mbps up and down or 1Gbps in both directions, but reaching 2Gbps download is a significant step forward.
